Our outer Wax Jacket pre wax clean is a gentle, specialist service designed to clean your jacket without stripping away its character, waterproofing, or patina. Every jacket is treated individually, by hand, using traditional methods that respect the fabric, stitching, and waxed finish.
We carefully remove surface dirt, Mud, dust and environmental build-up using controlled temperatures and wax-safe techniques. (This service is not designed to remove stains already imbedded within the wax cotton fibre particularly on lighter coloured wax cotton)

Our Advance Wax Jacket treatment eradicates the bacterial, mould and fungus colonies that cause your jacket to smell.
Mould growth on a wax jacket occurs when fungal spores colonise the waxed cotton surface under conditions of elevated humidity, limited airflow and the presence of organic debris such as Dirt, contact with animals or sweat.
The hydrophobic properties of the wax coating slows evaporation, allowing microclimates of trapped moisture to persist within folds and seams. These damp and nutrient rich areas provide an ideal substrate for mould metabolism and sporulation.
